In modern times, although food is important, the beauty of tableware is also essential. There are so many types of tableware in the supermarket, which dazzles everyone. We use these tableware so frequently, so do you know how to choose quality plates and bowls?

Currently we serve dishes and use the most plates. In ancient times, people have started to use porcelain plates and bowls for food. According to historical records, the earliest known porcelain bowls are celadon products. During the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, its shape was flat, large mouth, and deep belly. With the gradual improvement of porcelain-making technology, the improvement of people's aesthetic concepts and the improvement of practical requirements, the quality, shape and even pattern of the bowl have become more and more refined, and the division of labor has become more refined: it can be divided into rice bowls and soup bowls. , Tea bowl, etc.

The safety of such containers with imported things must be considered.

Now, a "young" material: plastic is becoming more and more popular with consumers.

For plastic tableware: it is not easy to break, if there are children in the home, you can choose some plastic tableware. When choosing plastic tableware, we should pay attention to the following points.

Plastic is one of the common materials in our lives. The national standard divides plastic tableware into seven categories. We will see a small triangle at the bottom of the plastic product with a number inside. This number is the national standard number corresponding to each type of plastic tableware. . Their numbers are different, their use and performance will be different.

① Mark "01": PET polyethylene terephthalate. The common product using it as the material is plastic bottles for beverages. The mineral water bottles and carbonated beverage bottles we see on the market are such materials. The shortcomings of this material are also obvious: hot water cannot be canned, it will deform and melt at a high temperature of 70 ℃, which is only suitable for canned cold and warm drinks. The bottle made of this material must be thrown away after it is used up, and can no longer be used as a water cup or storage container. Otherwise it will cause health problems.

② Mark "02": HDPE high-density polyethylene. Products using it as raw materials include detergent, shower gel, shampoo, pesticide, edible oil, etc. Plastic bags in large shopping malls and supermarkets are such materials. Most of the products made with it are translucent and can withstand high temperatures of 110°C. If it is indicated for food use, it can be used to hold food. However, since products made of this material are difficult to clean, it is best not to recycle them.

③ Logo "03": PVC polyvinyl chloride, common polyvinyl chloride products in daily life include plastic film, plastic boxes, building materials, etc. It has a low price and good plasticity, so it is very versatile. But its heat resistance is only 81°C, which is rarely used for food storage. Products made of this material are prone to produce toxic substances: the incompletely polymerized monomolecular vinyl chloride and harmful substances in plasticizers are easy to precipitate when encountering high temperature and grease. Cause cancer.

④ Mark "04": LDPE low-density polyethylene: products made from it are plastic bags and cling film. This material is not resistant to heat. Generally speaking, the cling film will melt when heated to 110°C, and the food wrapped in the cling film can easily dissolve the harmful substances in the cling film under the action of oil, so try not to heat the cling film in a microwave oven.

⑤ Logo "05": PP polypropylene: common products include juice drink bottles, water buckets, trash cans, baskets, microwave oven heating boxes, and the only material that can be heated in a microwave oven. It is resistant to high temperatures of 130°C, but has poor transparency. In daily life, we can clean it and use it repeatedly and carefully.

⑥ Logo "06": PS polystyrene: Our common disposable lunch boxes, cups for drinks in beverage shops, foamed fast food boxes, and instant noodle barrels are all products made from them. It is resistant to cold and heat, but it cannot be heated in a microwave oven, because too high a temperature will release harmful chemicals. Moreover, such products are not suitable for containing strong acids and strong alkaline substances to prevent the precipitation of polystyrene.

⑦ Logo "07": PCs are several other types of PCs, our common water bottles and milk bottles are their products. However, because of the presence of bisphenol A, such products have been controversial. Some scholars believe that if all bisphenol A is converted into a plastic structure during the production process, it means that the product does not contain bisphenol A. However, as long as a small part of BPA is not converted, it may be released into food and beverages. The residual bisphenol A in PC will release faster as the temperature increases. Therefore, if our water cup is marked with "07", we must pay attention to it when using it, not to heat it, and avoid direct sunlight. This can reduce the risk of use.
